Abstract
A demonstration
and review of currently available hacking tools used to attack and penetrate
networks and systems, including Trojan horses, viruses, scanning programs
and more. We’ll also review and demonstrate wireless hacking. After
reviewing the threats, a comprehensive walkthrough of appropriate countermeasures
will follow. Prevention technologies such as firewalls, anti-virus, and
intrusion detection will be discussed, as will policies, training and
general processes that mitigate system vulnerabilities.
